Job Description: 

We are looking for a Training & Development Officer to support the coordination and administration of compliance, regulatory, mandatory, and professional development training activities across multiple business functions, including Commercial, HR, IT, Finance, Business Excellence, and Operations.The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining training records, monitoring training compliance, supporting audit requirements, and ensuring employees meet mandatory training obligations in line with company, aviation, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Training Administration & LMS Support

  • Maintain training records, courses, and employee data within the LMS and HRIS.
  • Assign and monitor mandatory, compliance, and job-specific training.
  • Support employees with LMS access, enrolment, and training queries.
  • Prepare routine training and compliance reports, including overdue training, certifications, and refresher tracking.
  • Support trainers and vendors with attendance records and training administration.

Training Coordination

  • Support scheduling and administration of compliance and learning programs.
  • Arrange training logistics including invitations, calendars, venues, materials, and equipment.
  • Support onboarding and induction training activities.
  • Maintain the annual training calendar and attendance records.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Monitor training completion and follow up with employees and managers where required.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready training documentation.
  • Prepare compliance reports and support audit and inspection activities.
  • Maintain training feedback and evaluation records.

Vendor & Employee Support

  • Assist with coordination of external training providers and regulatory documentation.
  • Support administration of invoices, subscriptions, licences, and purchase orders.
  • Act as a first point of contact for training-related queries.
  • Communicate training requirements, reminders, and updates to employees and managers.
  • Support issuance of certificates and completion records

General Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in line with company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of training records.
  • Attend relevant training and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Attend training to maintain knowledge of regulatory and internal training requirements.

Education

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certification in Training & Development, Compliance Monitoring will be advantageous

Experience, Skills, and Personal Attributes 

  • 2 years of experience in Training Coordination, HR Support, Compliance Administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience using LMS platforms, compliance tracking, and training administration.
  • Exposure to training scheduling and logistics coordination.
  • Good understanding of mandatory and regulatory training requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel reporting.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and customer-service oriented approach.
  • Experience within aviation, HR, or Operations environments is an advantage
