Job Description

The Consolidation Officer is responsible for supporting the financial consolidation process of the Group’s entities. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial information, compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in reporting activities.

The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work within structured consolidation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process for all Group entities.
  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements.
  • Liaise with subsidiary finance teams to collect and review financial information.
  • Prepare consolidation adjustments, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, including IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, notes, and disclosures.
  • Support the preparation of statutory reports and filings.
  • Perform reconciliations and reviews to maintain data integrity within the consolidation process.
  • Assist in maintaining consolidation policies and procedures.
  • Work with consolidation systems and ERP tools to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation.
  • Provide analysis of consolidated financial results, highlighting key variances where necessary.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and financial summaries.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling consolidated financial data.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure consistency and alignment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Partly qualified or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to financial consolidation.
  • Good understanding of consolidation accounting principles and IFRS.
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or multinational environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage assigned tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with consolidation software and ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Exposure to the aviation industry is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
