Job Description
The Logistics Agent is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of cargo movements in line with team processes, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
The role serves as the central point of coordination between warehouse, trucking, airlines, handlers, and customers, ensuring shipments move efficiently, securely, and in full alignment with company standards and industry regulations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Logistics Agent include:
Operational Oversight:
• Verify On-Time Performance (OTP) and ensure compliance with set deadlines;
• Maintain up-to-date trucking information based on actual freight flow (incoming/outgoing).
Issue Resolution & Communication:
• Identify and address operational issues, actively providing solutions and mitigation steps;
• Generate and submit irregularity and discrepancy reports to relevant stakeholders and direct managers.
Shipment Coordination & Compliance:
• Ensure timely execution of all logistical operations, both for import and export;
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners to optimize efficiency.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., IATA Cargo Introductory Course, DG Awareness) are an advantage
Expirience
- 1–3 years of experience in air cargo, freight forwarding, or logistics operations
- Experience working with airlines, ground handlers, or trucking providers is highly preferred
